A farmer in Suffolk has been overwhelmed with the response to his ‘cries for help’ following the recent decline in cross border migrant workers.

Woodbridge farmer Bruce Kerr told the BBC that put out a call for help to pick his asparagus crop. He said he usually relies on around 90 farm workers in an eight-week period, which starts next month.

His tweet has since been retweeted more than 1,400 times with over 80 comments!
The tweet even sparked interest from the BBC and Farming UK, who reported the uplifting news!
