Challenging staff to make a difference to others

6 July 2018

Gepp Solicitors is taking part in the LawNet Challenge this year on 14 July 2018 which will see 6 of us attempting the Yorkshire 3-Peaks Challenge.  The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.  It takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, and the target is to complete it in less than 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.  We have decided to try and raise some money for one of the firm's charities, Columbus School and College which caters for children and young people aged from 3-19 with profound and multiple learning difficulties, many with extreme physical disabilities.

Our initial target was to raise £100 per peak but thanks to the generous contributions from colleagues at Conscious Solutions, Yellobelly and Peppermint Technology we realise we can be more ambitious.  We think that it is going to be quite a challenge during this record-breaking Summer, so if anyone else is interested in hearing about our adventure please do consider sponsoring us.
