Gepp & Sons on the Airwaves Again – Twice in One Week! This week two members of Gepp & Sons have both been guests on BBC Radio Essex. Senior Partner of the Firm, Jonathan Douglas-Hughes OBE DL appeared on the Steve Scruton show when he answered a wide range of legal questions from listeners across the county. Among the variety of topics Jonathan was asked to cover on the show were: car insurance claims where the guilty party would not admit liability; how to take a person to court to claim damages if you have had an accident; how to address the problem of a consumer being tied into a contract with lots of small print; how to trace whether someone has made a will; whether an Enduring Power of Attorney is still valid; what to do if a new battery damages your car; and why you should use the services of a solicitor to prepare your will. Jonathan regularly appears as a guest on BBC Radio Essex, so please don't forget to listen out for his next question & answer session. James Gilder, Trainee Solicitor, also appeared on Dave Monk's mid-morning show with a team of students from St John Payne Catholic Comprehensive School, who won this year's Gepp & Sons' Chelmsford Schools Legal Debate.
