In February 2017 Gepp Solicitors employed a new CEO, Mike Cubbin, who joined us after 36 years in the Army. Whilst Mike has very little input into the work of the military law team, he has always been available to translate “military-speak” into “civvy-speak” and has, on occasion, been able to offer an insight into the military thought process!
Gepp Solicitors is hoping to sign the Armed Forces Covenant Pledge and apply for the Bronze Award within the Employer Recognition Scheme. One of our pledges is to support the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal. Last year Mike volunteered to be a Poppy seller in Chelmsford and raised £200 when selling poppies at the railway station. This year Mike hopes to raise much more and has spent most lunch times over the last 2 weeks selling poppies in the centre of Chelmsford.
