More mortgage approvals, more house sales.

7 April 2014

According to the latest announcement from the Bank of England, the number of mortgages agreed by lenders to home buyers has risen for the 5th month in a row.

One suggestion for the increase is the government’s Funding for Lending scheme (FLS).

There were 932,000 completed sales during 2012, up from 885,000 from the previous year and the highest since 2007.
