Your pension fund passes to who you want but what about the rest of your assets?

Most people are aware that their pension pots will pass to a certain person on their death due to the administrative process of opening the fund – usually an individual will nominate who they want the fund to go to when completing the required forms – but there are still many people who don't have a Will for the rest of their assets.

Without a Will there could be complications when dealing with the estate or people you wish to benefit don't necessarily receive what you want, if anything at all. A Will reflects your lifetime intentions after your death.

Even if you have a Will it is important to remember to update it if your circumstances or intentions change.

If you would like to talk to someone about making changes to an existing Will or to set one up our do not hesitate to contact Lisa Carter, on 01245 228127 or carterl@gepp.co.uk, who will be pleased to assist you.
