2 years since company director Steven Long was sent to prison, we continue to be contacted by former clients of the now collapsed Universal Wealth Preservation (UWP). We have been successful in collapsing trusts naming UWP as trustees and removing UWP from property titles where properties have been placed into Trust with UWP, or a subsidiary company of UWP.

In the worst case scenarios, where life savings were placed into trust by UWP, it has been widely reported in the media that over £25m of their clients' funds was, and likely still is, missing.

As part of their investigation, the Police seized all UWP documents; however there have been cases of original trust deeds being released where only properties, and not cash assets, have been placed into a trust.

We have assisted clients from all over the country and the initial review meetings can take place remotely so that we can look at the documentation in place and discuss your options and the next stages.

If you have been affected by any planning implemented by Universal Wealth Preservation and would like further information about what to do, please contact our Private Client Department on 01245 228125 or PrivateClientEnq@gepp.co.uk.
