Since the announcement of another National Lockdown on 4th January, the Office of Public Guardian (OPG) has provided updated guidance for all deputies and attorneys. These guidelines are in the best interest of all parties.

The role and responsibilities of a deputy or attorney remain the same but these roles must adhere to the government's guidance on social distancing and self-isolation.

If you would like advice on any of the above or wish to speak to one of our solicitors about powers of attorney or your duties as a deputy or attorney, please contact our Private Client department on 01245 228125 or email PrivateClientEnq@gepp.co.uk and one of the team will be happy to assist you.
