Alex is a Partner and specialises in employment and company and commercial matters. She is also head of our Employment Team.
Having trained at Gepp Solicitors, Alex qualified in 2000 and became a partner in 2007. Today she specialises in all aspects of employment law and employment litigation acting for both businesses and individuals. She also specialises in company and commercial matters including Partnerships, LLPs and Companies. Alex is a skilled negotiator. She draft documents for all employment, company and commercial matters, and given her background in litigation is well placed to identify areas that could become litigious.
Alex’s clients describe her as being warm, approachable professional and reliable. Her extensive knowledge of Employment Law helps provide her clients with quick solutions to all their employment issues and concerns.

Alex’s experience spans individuals, companies, not-for-profit organisations, partnerships, LLPs and sole traders. Her work includes, dealing with TUPE, whistleblowing, redundancy, disciplinary, grievance and discrimination issues. She advises on employment duties and restrictive covenants. She handles all types of employment litigation including race, sex and disability discrimination claims and High Court action for injunctive relief and damages.
Alex also specialises in acting for senior executives, advising on the terms of their appointment and departure and in particular advising them on workplace investigations.
In addition Alex advises military personnel of all ranks on employment-related issues – the firm being a member of Forces Law.
Company and Commercial:
Alex advises on all matters relating to corporate and commercial work. Her work includes advice on business structure, drafting terms, conditions and trading agreements and partnership, LLP, Agency and shareholder agreements.
