Julie Brice


Julie Brice has been a solicitor for over 30 years, and originally worked for Gepp Solicitors in the early 80s, as a Litigator, before setting up her own firm specialising in criminal defence work.  After 22 successful years as a sole practitioner, Julie returned to Gepp Solicitors in 2017, joining the criminal team as a criminal defence specialist.


Julie has specialised in criminal defence cases for the last 24 years.  She has a broad range of experience, conducting cases including murder, robbery, serious violence, sexual offences, drug offences including trafficking, people trafficking, fraud and dishonesty cases.

She has worked extensively with defence medical and forensic experts.  Julie represents clients at all stages from the Police Station through to Court, she is also a Police Station and Court Duty Solicitor.  She is a Higher Courts Advocate, and has appeared before the Court of Appeal.


Julie has a thorough approach and ensures she listens to her clients to gain a full understanding of their circumstances and their defence, in order to focus on obtaining the best possible outcome for them.  She understands how stressful it is for clients to be accused of a criminal offence so supports and advises her clients throughout the whole legal process.
